The Butcombe Brewing Company started in 1978. From making tasty beer, it was a short step to making great places to drink it in.
There are now nearly thirty managed Butcombe pubs in the South West of England and lots of tenanted ones too. It turns out gorgeous English pubs and award-winning beers and ciders are a real recipe for success.
Waste Source took on the Pelican Inn in the Somerset village of Chew Magna in 2016. In early 2017, the company was bought by the Liberation Group and the resulting fresh investment led to the purchase of a range of new pubs. The team at Butcombe realised that such a rapid expansion would only be possible using a solid waste broker. We now look after waste management at every one of their pubs.
A classic country pub is supposed to be in the middle of nowhere, that’s part of the charm after all. Rural sites spread over a wide area pose no problem for Waste Source. We find and manage the best waste disposal provider for each location, delivering excellent coverage for our clients.
